On October 4, Roswell police were called to a Chevron station on Holcomb Bridge Road in reference to an armed robbery. A Chevron employee greeted the officers and explained to them that the suspect, a black male, threw her to the ground, pointed a gun at her head and demanded all of the money in the register.

The clerk said that she told the suspect to “take what you want, but please don’t kill me.” The clerk further explained that as she got money from the register for the suspect that the suspect decided to take as many scratch off lottery tickets as he could muster. The clerk later explained that she couldn’t be sure if the suspect ever pointed a gun at her because there had been a white cloth draped over what she thought was the gun.

The black male, described as 140-180 pounds, walked out of the Chevron station after the robbery and is still on the loose.

Public Indecency
On October 1, police responded to a call on Chattahoochee Street and discovered something out of the ordinary. A 36-year-old woman, identified as Daniela Sonier, was walking down the street carrying a stick and wearing nothing but her birthday suit. An officer asked her why she was walking down the street with no clothes on and Sonier responded that was not the case because she was wearing clothes in her mind.

When the officer tried to communicate with Sonier, she stuck out her tongue and made noises with her mouth. Sonier also attempted to kick the officer several times. The officer then asked Sonier to move to the front of his car, Sonier complied, but not before effectively mooning the officer. When she finally made her way to the car, she put one leg on the hood and performed lewd gestures towards the officer. When the officer got closer to Sonier to question her, Sonier attempted to kick him again.

The officer used a minute dose of pepper spray and placed Sonier in handcuffs. Sonier was charged with Public Indecency.
