On September 14, Roswell officers were called to an address on Coleman Road in reference to a fight. When the officers arrived, they spoke to several witnesses who told them the following story: the witnesses were trying to move their passed out friend Christopher Aldridge from the floor to his bedroom. In the middle of moving Aldridge, Aldridge woke up and physically fought off his friends.

He then retrieved his compound bow and some arrows and said he was going outside to “shoot some [crap].” The witnesses, worried about Aldridge’s level of intoxication, tried to talk the 37-year-old out of shooting his bow and arrow.

After “dry firing” the bow at his friends, Aldridge put the bow down and drew a pocket knife, he then made stabbing gestures at his friends which made them fearful for their lives.

They said Aldridge then threw down the knife and retrieved a baseball bat. The witnesses then ran and one of them called the police while running away from Aldridge. Aldridge dropped the bat when he heard police sirens and one of the friends recovered it so Aldridge could not use it.

When the cops talked to Aldridge, he told them that he “[expletive] lives there [at the residence where the incident occurred]” and that all he wanted to do that night was “shoot some [crap].”

Aldridge was arrested for reckless conduct and aggravated assault.

Frying Pan Involved in dish dispute
On September 13, Roswell police responded to an address on Hemingway Lane in response to a domestic dispute. When the officers arrived, they talked to the mother at the residence. She told them that her two daughters had gotten into a fisticuff.

The incident began when the mother asked her 13-year-old daughter to do the dishes. The 13-year-old became irate, grabbed a frying pan and threatened her older sister with it. The older sister approached her younger sibling and that’s when the 13-year-old struck her older sister in the head with the frying pan.

The mom then attempted to get the pan away from her young daughter, but she couldn’t. The young girl then threw the frying pan down the hallway. The mother then asked her younger daughter to get the frying pan and wash it because it was now dirtier since it was on the ground.

The juvenile responded by grabbing a knife and threatening both her mom and older sister. The two were able to wrestle the knife away from the 13-year-old before officers arrived on the scene.

The juvenile was arrested for simple assault with a blunt object and aggravated assault with a knife or cutting object.
